Fictional Objects & Music Instrumental Lab
Mnemekinesis is the first project of foMi.Lab (Fictional Objects & Music Instruments Laboratory, Bern). The project addresses the theme of memory and human empathy as a means to stimulate a dialogue between the musical imagination and the world as it presents itself in the third decade of the 21st century. This diffuse state of the real is considered here from four different and interconnected perspectives in the work of the four composers covered in the program: the post-human uchronias in Azzigotti, the indigenous cosmogonies in Pelzel, the expanded cinematic language in Kulikov and geometric-musical relations in Rubino. Through an ensemble of Swiss and Latin American musicians, 8 concerts, 2 lectures, neo-lutherie experiments and digital publications in innovative formats.

Feedback Tuba
By placing a microphone on the fourth valve of the double bass tuba in F and an amplification system in the bell of the instrument, we developed an articulated feedback system with the same valve.

M5LIVE
pioneer electronic music software created by Max Matthew and prepared by Bill Schottstaed for gfortran, with further additions and fixes by Victor Lazzarini. The livecoding context is based on P5live by Ted Davis, with some addition by Luciano Azzigotti

The Sphere
A sphere-membrane of 2 metres in diameter serves as a resonant membrane for a 100w transducer located at its base. The membrane is modulated by the glove-microphones of two performers located outside the sphere

Whorl Singing Heads
THE WSH is an embedded voice expander for networking performance situations that unifies voice processes in a puredata, with distributed lighting control.
